Dr Milan Koria
Dentist, GDC No. 76229
BDS Manchester 1999Milan graduated from Manchester University in 1999, and regularly attends postgraduate lectures and courses to further his professional development, so he can offer the latest treatments and techniques to his patients. He has completed the comprehensive year long Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice at the world- renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL) for which he was awarded a Distinction.
Milan has a calm, approachable and caring manner helping put patients at ease, he still provides care for patients who have seen him since he first qualified.
Milan became a partner at the Earl Shilton Dental Practice in 2008. He has a special interest in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry, and is a member of the British Dental Association.
He has 2 children and in his spare time enjoys his sports especially football and kickboxing.

Dr Sarah Moncur
Dentist, GDC No. 63838
BDS Birmingham 1988Sarah Moncur qualified from Birmingham Dental School in 1988. She was immediately offered a position working alongside her former tutors and from this gained invaluable experience in all fields of dentistry.
Sarah then decided to work in general practice, first working for 12 years in Warwickshire before joining The Earl Shilton Dental Practice in 2002 and becoming a partner in 2008. She regularly attends postgraduate courses to keep up to date with new ideas and technology enabling her to provide the highest standards to maintain her patients oral and dental health.
Sarah prides herself on providing a family friendly environment and feels that children especially respond well in this relaxed atmosphere. She enjoys the varied work as well as building up relationships with her regular patients. In fact, many of her original Warwickshire patients are still with her more than 25 years on. Sarah will always take the time to listen to any anxieties or concerns to ensure that her patients are reassured and that their needs are met.

Dr Prerna Chauhan
Dentist, GDC No. 192163
BDS Birmingham 2010Prerna joined the Earl Shilton Dental Practice in 2022 in and is always learning new techniques to provide her patients with the best possible treatment. She qualified in 2010 from Birmingham University and spent one year as a foundation trainee in Loughborough. She went on to join a multidisciplinary general practice in Nottingham before coming to Leicester.
Prerna enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is always attending courses to improve her skill set & knowledge to become a better dentist. She has completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with BAARID.
She also has a keen interest in Orthodontics and is a provider of Invisalign which is a clear removable orthodontic aligner which allows you to straighten your teeth discreetly. She had also trained in fixed orthodontics and composite bonding (the latest technique to shape teeth with minimal drilling so it’s ultra conservative) to help patients improve their smile and self confidence.
Outside of work Prerna is married and has a daughter. She enjoys travelling, food and socialising with friends and family. Her main dislikes are traffic and cold/wet weather. She also speaks Gujarati and some Hindi so all patients can feel comfortable with her.
Prerna has a passion for dentistry and loves treating her patients. Her passion and enthusiasm is infectious and she has a simple ethos of caring for patients so they become part of a family. This is shown through her kind, friendly and happy manner that puts even the most anxious patients at ease. She looks forward to treating you at our practice.

Dr Jose Antonio Victoria Ortega

Lic. Odont Madrid 2006In 2006 Jose Ortega qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Alfonso X el Sabio University (Madrid, Spain) one of the most renowned Higher Education institutions in Spain. Jose practiced in Madrid for nearly a year, working with one of his professors from University, an experience which enhanced his knowledge and skills and enabled him to develop professionally.
Jose then moved to the UK where he has been practicing as a general dentist for the last ten years. Jose has always had a particular interest in dental implants. This led him to take a year-long Certificate course in Oral Surgery and Implantology at The Tatum Institute in Birmingham in 2009. Jose was mentored by Prof. Hilt Tatum, one of the most highly respected pioneers in the field. During the following two years Jose continued to treat patients at the Institute, where he performed more complex surgeries and treated multi-disciplinary cases. In 2010 Jose worked in the Oral Surgery Department at the Birmingham Dental Hospital where he carried out different dento-alveolar procedures. Since then he has been placing and restoring dental implants successfully in practices across Warwickshire, as well as taking referrals from colleagues in the area.
Jose has attended numerous courses in restorative dentistry, endodontics and implantology at a national and international level. This allows him to apply the latest technologies and techniques to his daily practice. Jose is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantology in the UK. Jose feels very passionate about providing his patients with the best possible care, and is strongly committed to delivering high standards of practice at all times.

Jill Young
Hygienist GDC No. 2829
Dip Dental Hygiene B’ham 1984Since qualifying Jill has worked in Dental Practices in Birmingham and Coventry. Jill also worked in the Special Care Community Dental Service in North Warwickshire for 10 years treating patients with special needs, co-training on the oral care courses for staff in care homes as part of their NVQ and providing a domiciliary service for those unable to attend a clinic.
Jill is vastly experienced and attends many conferences and seminars and has attended Europerio in London and Amsterdam.
Jill looks forward to treating you at our practice and is able to offer you Air Polishing to remove the more stubborn staining on teeth.

Jas Bains
Hygienist GDC No. 4876
Dental Hygiene EDH 1995Jas qualified from the Eastman Dental hospital in London as a Dental Hygienist in 1995. Jas has a wealth of experience and gets great satisfaction in treating patients in order to obtain a good healthy mouth. She enjoys treating nervous patients and puts them at ease.
Jas attends professional courses in order to keep up to date with latest technology/skills. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and socialising with her friends.

Lucy Barsby

BSc Oral Health Science with Hons 2013 ManchesterLucy is an extremely enthusiastic Dental Therapist and Hygienist passionate about delivering the highest standard of dental care for her patients.Lucy is currently working as a self-employed Dental Hygienist and Therapist in several large mixed NHS and private dental practices.
Lucy has experience treating patients of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds in various kinds of dental environments. These include working within a dental hospital, a community outreach centre and treating patients under general anaesthetic in Manchester Royal Infirmary and Manchester Children’s Hospital.
Lucy is a keen member of two hygiene therapy societies (BADT and BADHT) and ensures that she keeps up to date with the latest publications and her continual professional development.

Nshiw Abubaker
BSc Dental Hygiene and Dental therapy, GDC No. 297537
University of Portsmouth 2021Nshiw joined our friendly dental team in October 2021, having spent three years training as a hygienist and therapist in Portsmouth.
Nshiw's knowledge and clinical skills are contemporary and up to date, which will be beneficial to her patients. Her current research around dental anxiety and phobia allows her to effortlessly work with and treat anxious patients. This proves valuable in aiding patients to overcome their fears.
Her conscientious and devoted approach helps her to motivate her patients to maintain optimum levels of oral hygiene and this shows through her caring chairside manner.
In her free time, Nshiw enjoys making bespoke cakes, travelling and finding new food spots to explore.
