Mr Jose Antonio Victoria Ortega
In 2006 I qualified as a Dental Surgeon from Alfonso X el Sabio University (Madrid, Spain), one of the most renowned Higher Education institutions in Spain. I practiced in Madrid for nearly a year, working with one of my professors from University, an experience which enhanced my knowledge and skills and enabled me to develop professionally.
I then moved to the UK where I have been practising as a general dentist for the last twelve years. I have always had a particular interest in dental implants. This led me to take a year-long Certificate course in Oral Surgery and Implantology at The Tatum Institute in Birmingham in 2009. Here, I was mentored by Prof. Hilt Tatum, one of the most highly respected pioneers in the field. During the following two years I continued to treat patients at the Institute, where I performed more complex surgeries and treated multidisciplinary cases. In 2010, I worked in the Oral Surgery Department at the Birmingham Dental Hospital where I carried out different dentoalveolar procedures. Since then, I have been placing and restoring dental implants in practices across Warwickshire and Gloucestershire, as well as taking referrals from colleagues in these areas.
I have attended numerous courses in restorative dentistry, endodontics and implantology at a national and international level. This allows me to apply the latest technologies and techniques to my daily practice. I am also a member of the Association of Dental Implantology in the UK.
I feel very passionate about providing my patients with the best possible care and I am strongly committed to delivering high standards of practice at all times.
